what are we looking for?

Office and office management

Are you an organizational talent with an eye for detail and a passion for social justice? The ComeHome Association is looking for an ambitious and talented office and administrative assistant to support us in general office tasks and ensure the smooth running of our daily operations. Our organization is passionate about the repatriation of abducted Ukrainian children and the reunification of families. Under the motto “Search for Children, Find Children, Protect Children”, we work to spread our mission and build a strong community. If you are ready to use your organizational skills and commitment for a meaningful cause, then you have come to the right place!

Your main tasks and responsibilities

  • General office work:
    • Management of day-to-day office operations, including telephone management, e-mail correspondence and appointment coordination.
    • Organization and maintenance of documents and files, both physical and digital.
    • Support in the preparation and implementation of meetings and events.
  • Administrative support:
    • Supporting the fundraising and communications team with administrative tasks.
    • Processing incoming and outgoing mail and managing office supplies.
    • Creating and editing reports, presentations and other documents.
  • Financial and data management:
    • Accounting support, including invoicing and auditing.
    • Management and maintenance of member databases and mailing lists.
    • Preparation of financial reports and support with budget planning.

Your qualification and the “Nice to have”

  • Education and training:
    • Completed training in office management, administration or comparable fields.
  • Professional experience and skills:
    • Experience in office administration, ideally in the non-profit sector.
    • Excellent organizational skills and good time management.
    • Careful and precise working methods with an eye for detail.
    • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally experience with database management.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
